Last Saturday, we lived once again another of the biggest classic games of the world: the Real Madrid vs. Barcelona game. The game was at the Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid, Spain. And, this is how I saw the game. The game had not even started to get rhythm when at the 23rd second, by a passing error of Barcelona goalie, Victor Valdés, Karim Benzema of Real Madrid, scored the first goal of the game. After this super early goal in the game, for a Barcelona fan, the game was a little uncomfortable to watch. Every minute I waited for that Barcelona goal that would put my mind at ease. And it did come, after 30 minutes. At the 31st minute, with a great pass from Messi, Alexis Sánchez put the ball at the back of the net, and scored Barcelona’s first goal of the game. After the first 45 minutes of play, the players went into the dressing rooms with the score tied 1-1.
When the second half started, not 10 minutes had passed when Xavi, at the 54th minute, scored the 2-1 goal. The ball, misdirected by Real Madrid’s Marcelo, hit the goal post on the left of goalie Casillas, and bounced into the net. This changed the rhythm of the game, and 11 minutes later, at the 65th minute, the third Barcelona goal was scored by Cesc. The final score was 3-1 in favor of Barcelona, and like this the world saw another Spanish Clásico come and go.
