            Frente a 87,000 aficionados en el estadio de Wembley en Inglaterra, el actual Campeón del Mundo no pudo ganarle a una Inglaterra que jugaba de local. Inglaterra se puso al frente tras un gol de Frank Lampard al minuto 49 de juego. En este partido Iker Casillas, portero de España, igualó a Andoni Zubizarreta con 126 partidos jugados con la Roja. En mi opinion, aunque sea un partido amistoso, yo creo que los equipos tienen que darle con todo, como si se estuvieran eliminando para el Mundial. Tienen que tener la misma pasión por este tipo de partidos, que por los de eliminación, porque los aficionados quieren verlos jugar con ganas. Ya si no ganan, pues aunque sea la afición sabe que jugaron con todo.

England 1-0 Spain

           

            In front of 87,000 fans in Wembley Stadium, the current World Champion Spain was unable to beat England who was playing with home-field advantage. England was ahead when Frank Lampard scored at the 49^th minute. In this game Iker Casillas, Spain’s goalie, reached and equaled Andoni Zubizarreta with 126 official games played with La Roja. In my opinion, even though this was a friendly game, I believe that national teams should play as if it was a World Cup elimination game. They need to be as passionate about games like these, as they are about others, because their fans watch them and want them to win, and even if that does not happen, they want to at least feel that their teams gave it their all.
